Sara Keyser 

The desire to create beautiful things has always been a part of my life.

I've been drawn to colors, sketching, painting, and design since I was a kid. I remember sitting at my parent's oak, roll top desk and planning out color schemes and room designs in Microsoft paint. I would pick bright and bold patterns and colors-which became interestingly eclectic at best, and cringe early 2,000's HGTV at worst...Over the years my style has refined, and I've become more drawn to painting as my art form of choice.

 

I feel that God has used painting in my life to teach me deeper lessons about myself, and about Him. Whether it's watercolor, oil, or acrylic- I use a variety of media to carefully layer on rich colors, to convey depth and movement. There is beauty and inspiration in the everyday- my children dancing and playing, the blossoming magnolias from my backyard, or the gentle waters of the lake. All of life is art, and I am so blessed that God chose me to paint out of the overflow of seeing this beauty through an artist's eye. 

 

I live in Huntsville, Alabama with my husband and three amazing daughters, and work out of my home studio.
